About Me

Eileen McGee Pestorius is a lucky duck who lived in Bayswater, London 2000-04 when her husband left a Unversity of Texas lab to represent the Office of Naval Research abroad. Everything here is from those years. The couple settled in Austin, Texas after many Navy moves.  Eileen is a painter who loves  travel, teaching, gelato, music, reading, vin rouge, golf, swimming, scotch, and writing.

She and Mike have four children and eleven nearly perfect grandchildren. She welcomes your input.

My community is vast, beginning with a large and encouraging  family, plus friends, groups, and acquaintances near and far, new and old, especially those who love the arts. When I was young, I never went anyplace. Since then, I've tried to go everyplace!

These chronicle tales began as emails to immediate family but soon grew and were spread to others. You are welcome to make observations and suggestions! There are 38 London chapters plus a world travel section, all 2000-2004.
